Jewellery Workshops
Gioia Jewellery's recently launched workshops have been proving a real hit.
The workshops are generally held on a Monday from 10am to 4 pm and allow people to make their own jewellery with the help and guidance of Gioia's own award winning creative director Lisa Sanders and one of her team.
"It's been fantastic and a huge amount of fun" said Lisa. "We've found that people come along and within a short time have made some new friends and end the day having created something to treasure."
The sessions are designed for individuals or groups and many of the people who have attended have never done anything like them before. Limiting numbers to a maximum of 7 people means help and instruction is given on an individual basis.
Lisa continued, "We've been able to help people turn their designs into pieces they can wear themselves and some have designed things for family members, loved ones and gifts for others. Many have discovered a creative talent they didn't know they had!"
One of the people to have been on the day workshops wrote to Lisa afterwards saying
"I just wanted to say what a fabulous time I had at your Workshop. You have a lovely team. It was such great fun, as well as being very informative and I can't thank you enough for sharing your expertise so willingly. I am absolutely thrilled with my necklace and I've already booked in for the next one! Thank you again"
The cost of the workshops is £60 plus materials and includes lunch. This also makes a fantastic present as workshop vouchers are now available to purchase.
